AI-Assisted Mod Fixes Oblivion Remastered Performance Issues
A fan-developed mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, created with the assistance of Anthropic's Claude AI, has reportedly resolved significant performance issues on PC. The mod, titled 'Oblivion Remastered Performance Fix,' addresses CPU bottlenecks and stuttering by optimizing engine-level code, resulting in substantial frame rate improvements without sacrificing visual quality. While the game has faced criticism for inconsistent performance since launch, this community-driven solution offers a promising alternative to official patches. Meanwhile, Bethesda has released a new patch for the Nintendo Switch 2 version to fix visual degradation issues introduced in a previous update.
