Brooklyn’s Free The Ordinary Bus Halts Rides Days After Debut
The Ordinary launched a free bus service between Domino Park and Prospect Park in Brooklyn to promote its skincare line, but the operation was suspended just days after its debut. The service was set to run hourly from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and noon to 7 p.m. on weekdays through June 9, with about 1,000 riders expected daily. City officials say they’re assisting with permits and registration, while the company has not explained the halt; Mayor Mamdani has touted free, fast buses in the past but has not delivered.
