Scott Waugh’s 'Runner' Outshines Gal Gadot’s 'The Runner' in Action-Comedy Clash
Scott Waugh’s new action-comedy 'Runner' starring Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson is praised for its balanced blend of humor and intense action, outperforming the similarly named 'The Runner' starring Gal Gadot. The film follows a courier in Australia tasked with transporting a rare organ, facing a villain who values the organ’s monetary worth over the child’s life. Critics note the film’s strong pacing and likable characters, though they critique the ethical ambiguity of the collateral damage caused during the rescue.
