Thomas Gigler, 56, identified as father of three who went overboard from Carnival Panorama
Thomas Gigler, a 56-year-old computer programmer from Redlands, California, was identified as the passenger who went overboard from the Carnival Panorama on September 20. He was traveling with his wife and three sons for an anniversary trip. The U.S. Coast Guard and Mexican Navy are searching the Pacific, but Gigler is presumed dead. His family says he had no history of mental illness and is struggling to understand why he jumped.
