Spurs land Tobias Harris on a two-year, $31 million deal
The San Antonio Spurs have signed veteran forward Tobias Harris to a two-year, $31 million contract, adding a floor-spacing veteran to pair with Victor Wembanyama. Harris, 33, posted 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for Detroit, shooting 46.7% from the field and 36.8% from three, and can create offense in clutch moments. He’ll compete with Julian Champagnie for a starting role in a crowded wing rotation. The deal is believed to be the full non-taxpayer MLE (~$15M per year) and is structured to come off the books in two years when the Spurs sign Dylan Harper, with two roster spots still open ahead of training camp.
