Ukraine Strikes Oryol Missile Electronics Plant and Other Russian Defense Sites
Ukrainian forces confirmed strikes on the Proton-Elektroteks plant in Oryol, the Tolyattikauchuk complex in Samara, and the Yeysk airfield on October 23-24. The Oryol attack damaged facilities producing components for Russian cruise and ballistic missiles. The Tolyatti strike ignited a major fire and forced evacuations at a nearby car plant. A simultaneous blackout affected occupied Crimea.
