OC Couple Describes Attempted Rescue in Puerto Vallarta Crocodile Attack
An Orange County couple said they tried to rescue a 28-year-old Mexico City tourist attacked by a crocodile on a Puerto Vallarta beach. Despite throwing a life preserver and attempting to reach him, authorities say the man died; his body was recovered the next morning and the crocodile suspected in the attack was captured. Officials urge beachgoers to heed wildlife warning signs.
