Hurts, Moore Connect on 50-Yard TD as Eagles Wrap Day 10 of Camp

Day 10 of Eagles camp featured injury updates (Jonathan Greenard on Active/PUP; Quinyon Mitchell left practice with an knee issue), with Mac McWilliams moving into first-team CB as Mitchell exited. The highlight was a 50-yard TD from Jalen Hurts to Elijah Moore, and Hurts looked faster this camp. The WR vs DB 1-on-1s showed mixed results, including a standout undercut by Mitchell on Hollywood Brown. In the 4-minute drill, Barkley led the first team to a first down, Tank Bigsby did the same for the second unit, and J.T. Gray broke up a pass. Dallas Goedert made a mid-field catch, Jake Elliott went 6-for-6 on field goals, and Vic Fangio noted Hurts’s speed improving. The team heads into a Wednesday walkthrough and Thursday practice before Saturday’s preseason opener in Baltimore.

The Packers will start training camp with five players on the active/physically unable to perform list—Tucker Kraft, Luke Musgrave, Javon Hargrave, Aaron Banks and Kamal Hadden—while Micah Parsons is expected to join the list on Tuesday. Chris Brooks is on the non-football injury list. Parsons has a torn ACL and isn’t projected to return before October, after late-December surgery and a follow-up knee procedure. Devonte Wyatt and Zach Tom are cleared to begin camp, with Wyatt dealing from a left fibula fracture and ankle ligament injuries and Tom from offseason patellar tendon surgery.

US travel ban shadows DR Congo World Cup prep amid Ebola risk

The US CDC’s 21-day entry ban for travelers who have recently been in DR Congo, Uganda, or South Sudan complicates DR Congo’s World Cup plans. Since most players are based abroad, the restriction risks forcing isolation measures and has led to a cancelled training camp; any visitors entering the US would need a separate bubble to avoid risking the squad. WHO has raised Ebola risk in DR Congo to 'very high' in the region, while DR Congo are set for friendlies in Europe ahead of the World Cup (June 11–July 19), with opening group match against Portugal on June 17.
