Biden Grants Final Turkey Pardons Amid Clemency Debate
President Joe Biden pardoned two turkeys, Peach and Blossom, in his final turkey pardoning ceremony as President, a light-hearted White House tradition before Thanksgiving. The event, attended by around 2,500 people, included jokes and a reflection on the significance of the holiday season. The pardoned turkeys will return to Minnesota as "agricultural ambassadors." Biden also plans to celebrate "Friendsgiving" with Coast Guard members in New York.
