Roommate charged with two counts of murder in deaths of USF PhD students
A 26-year-old roommate, Hisham Abugharbieh, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of USF doctoral students Zamil Limon and Nahida Bristy. Limon's body was found on the Howard Franklin Bridge in Tampa, Bristy is missing and believed dead, with investigators citing a large amount of blood at Abugharbieh's residence. He also faces domestic-violence, evidence-tampering, and failing-to-report-a-death charges and was arrested after a domestic-violence call near USF's Tampa campus.
