"German Museum Employee Fired for Secretly Displaying Personal Artwork"
A German museum worker, also a self-proclaimed "freelance artist," was fired after smuggling and hanging his own painting in the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. The painting, measuring 60cm by 1.2m, was discovered by security and removed, leading to the man's termination and investigation for property damage. A similar incident occurred at another museum, where the staff reacted humorously and invited the artist to come forward.
