IDF Seals Hezbollah Tunnel Under Cemetery with Concrete
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) dismantled a large underground Hezbollah compound in southern Lebanon, located about 1.5 km from the Israeli border. The operation involved multiple IDF units and resulted in the compound being filled with 4,500 cubic meters of concrete to prevent future use. The compound, which included command rooms and weapon storage, was part of Hezbollah's plans to infiltrate Israel. Separately, reports emerged of Hezbollah commander Salim Jalim Ayyash being killed in an Israeli airstrike in Syria, though Israel has not confirmed the strike.
