SoFi Stadium Workers Vote to Authorize Strike Ahead of World Cup Opener
SoFi Stadium workers in Inglewood voted to authorize a strike if contract talks with Legends Global stall, just days before the U.S. World Cup opener at the venue. About 2,000 bartenders, servers, cooks and dishwashers are seeking higher pay, job security, protections from subcontracting, and limits on immigration enforcement, with talks moving slowly and no guarantee of a walkout. Legends Global says it aims to reach an agreement and deliver a strong World Cup experience.
