CD Projekt Red Teases Ambitious Vision for The Witcher 4

CD Projekt Red has announced that The Witcher 4, also known as Project Polaris, has entered full-scale production, marking a significant development phase. The game will not focus on Geralt of Rivia, though his voice actor will be involved. CDPR has transitioned from its REDengine to Unreal Engine to facilitate multiple projects, including a Cyberpunk sequel and a new IP. The studio aims to avoid past mistakes from Cyberpunk 2077 by improving pre-production processes and ensuring better platform compatibility. A marketing campaign is expected to be shorter than two years, with potential early teasers.
