Two-Year Prison Term Over Theft of Unreleased Beyoncé Music
Kelvin Evans pleaded guilty in Atlanta to stealing hard drives containing unreleased Beyoncé music and related tour materials from a rental car, receiving a five-year sentence with two years to be served in custody and probation restrictions. The July 2025 theft, linked to Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour in Atlanta, involved watermarked music, unreleased tracks, show footage and set lists; police tracked items via a laptop and AirPods, Evans was arrested weeks later, and the property had not been recovered at the time of his arrest.
