Utah Judge to Rule on Trial Eligibility in Charlie Kirk Killing
A Utah judge is set to decide whether prosecutors have enough evidence to move forward with a trial against 23-year-old Tyler Robinson for aggravated murder in the shooting death of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. The court has heard evidence including surveillance footage, DNA on a towel, and Robinson’s movements and alleged remorse, with the murder weapon found nearby. Robinson has not entered a plea, and prosecutors have signaled the possibility of the death penalty if convicted. Judge Tony Graf will hear closing arguments and issue a bench ruling on whether the case should proceed to trial.
