"Expert Tips and Efforts to Combat Mosquitoes This Summer"
San Diego County's Vector Control Program is conducting aerial drops of mosquito larvicide from April to October to control mosquito populations and prevent disease spread. The larvicide, which is safe for pets, people, plants, and wildlife, will be applied every three to four weeks across 1,400 acres in various local waterways. Residents can report mosquito activity and other concerns to the County Department of Environmental Health and Quality’s Vector Control Program.
