Dulles Airport Unveils Plans for $125M VIP Terminal to Bypass Main Concourse
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) has confirmed the development of a new 37,000-square-foot VIP terminal at Washington Dulles International Airport. The facility, to be built and operated by Irish firm daa International, will offer commercial airline passengers a premium, private experience separate from the main terminal. The project, valued at $125 million, includes private security screenings, hotel-style lounges, and direct vehicle transfers to aircraft. Construction is expected to take 30 months, with daa International managing the facility for an initial 20-year term. This move follows a broader $22.5 billion renovation plan for Dulles announced by President Trump in July 2026.
