HTC VIVE Eagle: Amazon listing teases September launch at $499
HTC's VIVE Eagle AR glasses briefly appeared on Amazon with a September 1 launch and a $499 price, but the listing was pulled and it’s unclear if pre-orders will resume. The glasses weigh 49g, run on Snapdragon AR1 with 4GB RAM/32GB storage, offer about 36 hours of total battery life (4.5 hours for music), and operate on Wear OS with features like voice-to-text notes, real-time translation in 12 dialects, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a camera-usage LED indicator. They come in several colors, have IP54 protection, and cost roughly $200 more than Ray-Ban Meta glasses.
