In the macOS 27 Golden Gate beta, Apple experiments with a new Siri interface called Voice Pad that presents a 13-voice grid and uses spatial audio and cursor motion to modulate voice characteristics. The feature is not yet fully implemented; the current beta lacks the actual voice models and defaults to two custom voices, though files indicate support for 13 American English voices.
