Marvel Actress Wai Ching Ho, Madame Gao, Dies at 82
Wai Ching Ho, the Hong Kong-born actress best known for portraying crime boss Madame Gao in Daredevil and its Marvel spin-offs Iron Fist and The Defenders, has died at 82. Death was confirmed by former costars Peter Shinkoda and Judy Lei, with no immediate cause of death disclosed. Ho’s career spanned film, television and stage, including One Life to Live (1983), voicing Grandma Wu in Turning Red, and Off-Broadway work such as Laowang: A Chinatown King Lear.
