During Summer Game Fest, Warner Bros. and Telltale announced The Wolf Among Us 2 will launch in 2027, with a remastered version of the first game arriving in the 2026 holiday season. The titles are slated for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with PM Studios helping develop the sequel. Fans are encouraged to replay the original before the sequel releases next year.
Hogwarts Legacy, developed by Avalanche, has sold over 22 million copies in less than a year, making it the best-selling game of 2023 worldwide, despite not being a live-service game or featuring multiplayer components. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment president David Haddad attributes its success to delighting fans and bringing Harry Potter to life in a new way. The company aims to expand into live-service games, with the upcoming release of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, developed by Rocksteady.
The Nintendo Switch port of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy will only have Batman: Arkham Asylum on the cartridge, while Arkham City and Arkham Knight will be digital downloads. The cartridge needs to be inside the Switch to play the other two games, despite not being physically on the cartridge. This is not the first third-party Nintendo Switch port that is too big to fit on a single cartridge.
