Dave Mason, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame guitarist and Traffic co-founder, died at 79 at his Nevada home. A prolific musician who played with Hendrix, McCartney and the Rolling Stones, Mason wrote the enduring “Feelin’ Alright?” and scored solo success with “We Just Disagree.” He faced health issues leading to tour cancellations in 2024–25 and published a memoir in 2024; in 2025 he released his 21st album, A Shade of Blues. He is survived by his wife and family.
