Uniting Against Putin: Ukraine's Call to Action
As Ukraine prepares to launch its spring offensive, the country's Western backers must be patient. Ukraine has stated time and again that only the liberation of the occupied territories can serve as a basis for further talks. A conflict that ends at this stage will leave Russia not only with Crimea but also with large areas of stolen land amounting to 18% of Ukrainian territory. Ukraine may not be able to win the war without US help, but it won't stop fighting. The idea that selling the country to its enemies would deliver peace is delusional.
