Dolphins Fill Practice Squad with Former Packers and Cowboys Busts
The Miami Dolphins have aggressively reshaped their practice squad, signing former Green Bay Packers standout Will Sheppard and cornerback Jaylin Simpson. This move follows a broader trend of Miami acquiring ex-Packers personnel, including quarterback Kyle McCord and safety Zayne Anderson. The team also added former Dallas Cowboys first-round pick Mazi Smith and veteran edge rusher Clelin Ferrell, while releasing tight end Jeremiah Franklin and inside linebacker Cam Riley. These changes aim to bolster depth ahead of the season opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.
