Ex-X Factor finalist denies murder in Soho car attack
Gabrielle Carrington, a former X Factor finalist, appeared by video link from Bronzefield prison at the Old Bailey to deny murdering social media influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska after a car incident on Argyll Street in Soho; the charge was altered from attempted murder to murder following Zakrzewska’s death six days later, and Carrington also denied a second count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to a security guard. A trial is scheduled to begin on 5 January. Zakrzewska, known as Klaudia Glam, had hundreds of thousands of followers; the case also involves another injured man, with family members present in court during the hearing.
