Oman initiates legal proceedings against Ukrainian influencers for riding nesting sea turtle

Oman’s Environment Authority has launched legal action against Ukrainian fitness influencer Vadym Oleynik and his partner, Olena Kravchenko, after a viral video showed them sitting on a nesting sea turtle at Ras Al Hadd. The footage, which also depicted the pair mishandling hatchlings, sparked global outrage and prompted authorities to reiterate strict rules for visitor conduct at protected nesting sites.
