Kia's EV6 Sales Surge in the US, Reaching Nearly 2,500 Units in August 2023

Kia America reported strong sales in August 2023, with a nine percent increase year-over-year and the second-best monthly result ever. The company sold 2,449 EV6 electric vehicles, a 33 percent increase compared to the previous year, accounting for about 3.4 percent of total sales volume. Kia's overall battery-electric vehicle sales increased 100 percent year-over-year. The automaker's strong performance is attributed to its highly desirable and innovative models, positioning Kia as a leader in the EV market. Kia's BEV sales are expected to further rise with the upcoming launch of the all-new EV9 model in Q4.
