Adidas struggles to recover from Yeezy fallout.

Adidas is still stuck with 1.2 billion euros worth of unsold Yeezy shoes after ending its relationship with Kanye West in October 2022 over his offensive comments. The company is considering options for the sneakers, but no decision has been made yet. Destroying the shoes has not been ruled out, but Adidas is trying to avoid it. Losing the Yeezy brand has hurt Adidas, reducing earnings by 500 million euros this year if the remaining stock is not sold. The breakup also cost Adidas 600 million euros in lost sales in the last quarter of 2022.
