Boeing Outperforms Airbus in Q1 Deliveries with Strong March Performance.

Boeing delivered more planes than Airbus in the first quarter of 2021, marking the first time since mid-2018 that the US manufacturer has out-delivered its European rival. Boeing delivered 130 planes, a 37% increase from the previous year, while Airbus delivered 127 planes, a 9% decrease from the previous year due to parts shortages. Both companies have struggled to keep up with demand for fuel-efficient planes amid disruptions from suppliers and their own production shortfalls.
