Ford settles race harassment case at Buffalo plant with $2.3M payout and reforms

Ford Motor Co. will pay $2.3 million to settle EEOC race- and national-origin harassment claims at its Buffalo Stamping Plant, and will implement ongoing anti-discrimination training, report complaints to the EEOC for three years, while highlighting more than $3.5 million in security upgrades (326 cameras and anti-graffiti coatings) as part of a broader effort to ensure a safer, more respectful workplace.
