Tax Day 2026 freebies: Chains roll out promos and discounts nationwide

Restaurants and retailers nationwide rolled out Tax Day freebies, discounts, and BOGO promos on April 15, including Subway’s free footlong with the purchase of an equal-or-lesser value item using code FLBOGO, Krispy Kreme’s BOGO dozen, Wendy’s free 6-piece nuggets with a $5 order via the app, and a slate of other offers from 7-Eleven, QDOBA, Popeyes, Checkers & Rally’s, Goldfish and more, with several deals running through mid-April or beyond.
