Terrorist Organizations Shift to Tron as Preferred Crypto: Reuters Report

The Tron blockchain has surpassed Bitcoin as the preferred cryptocurrency network for groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, designated as terror organizations by several countries. Reuters' analysis revealed a significant increase in cryptocurrency seizures from Tron wallets since 2021, while seizures from Bitcoin wallets have declined. Israel has made 87 seizures from Tron wallets this year, with a majority linked to Hezbollah and Hamas ally Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Tron spokesperson Hayward Wong stated that while all technologies could be used for questionable activities, Tron does not have control over those using its network.
