Biden Administration Allocates $2.5B for Community EV Chargers

The Biden administration has launched a $2.5 billion grant program to fund public charging electric vehicle sites across the US, divided into two categories: community and corridor. The move is aimed at achieving President Biden's objectives of building a national network of 500,000 public electric vehicle charging stations and cutting down national greenhouse gas emissions by 50-52% before 2030. Leading automakers such as Tesla, Ford, and General Motors have already ventured into EV charging expansion across the US.
