"Saudi Energy Minister Warns Oil Speculators Ahead of OPEC+ Meeting"

Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, warned short sellers to "watch out" just days before the OPEC+ meeting to decide on future oil policy. He blamed the International Energy Agency (IEA) for the volatility in 2022 and said that "kicking the can" policies need to stop. The minister said the alliance would continue to be proactive, preemptive and hedge against what may come in the future, regardless of any criticism. OPEC+ members are due to meet on June 4 in Vienna to decide on their next course of action.
