Yelp's Top 100 Midwest Restaurants: Illinois Dominates with 21 Spots

Yelp has released its "Top 100 Restaurants in the Midwest" list for 2023, with 21 Illinois restaurants making the cut. While Illinois didn't take the top spot, Blues City Deli in St. Louis, Missouri claimed first place. The second spot went to Pa Lian, a Burmese restaurant in suburban Wheaton. Other Illinois restaurants on the list include Sunset Pho Caffe, Aloha Wagon, Penumbra, Kuma's Sushi Bowl, Boba Burger, Asadoras Argentina Burgers, XOchimilco Mexican Restaurant, HD Cuisine, Offset BBQ, KALA Modern Greek, Bavette's Bar & Boeuf, North Branch Fried Chicken, Chez François Poutinerie, Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant, El Xangarrito, Gumii, Big Ed's BBQ, Bongiorno's Italian Deli & Pizzeria, Community Tavern, and Cedar Palace.
