Spartanburg's BBQ Scene Heats Up with New Restaurant and Food Truck Additions

Smoking Butt Heads BBQ, a new restaurant in downtown Spartanburg, will feature competition-quality BBQ, a taproom serving local brews, and a dedicated space for live music and private events. The restaurant will offer dine-in and to-go food, as well as on and off-site catering. Todd Smith, world champion pitmaster, and Nate Tomforde, restauranteur and brewery owner, are teaming up to create the new dining concept. The restaurant will open this summer in the Greenewald's building, the space formerly occupied by Wild Wing Cafe.
