Salmonella Outbreak Tied to Broccoli Sprouts Triggers Recall, FDA Says

The FDA and CDC are investigating a Salmonella Bovismorbificans outbreak likely linked to broccoli sprouts from Evergreen Fresh Sprouts, LLC. A recall affects sprouts distributed to grocery stores, restaurants, and food-service customers in Idaho, Montana, and Washington (with additional risk to Utah). So far, 22 illnesses have been reported across multiple states, including two hospitalizations; cases began between July and August 2026.
