Iowa's Best Burger of 2023 awarded to Huxley restaurant.

Flight Bar + Grille in Huxley, Iowa has been named the winner of the annual Iowa's Best Burger Contest sponsored by the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association and Iowa Beef Industry Council. The winning burger, "The Foundation," is a double-smash burger with cheddar cheese, mustard aioli, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, and thick-cut bacon served on a brioche bun. Owners Marianne and Matt Pacha donate $1 from every Foundation burger sold to the Ballard Education Foundation, raising over $3,000 in the first year of business. The burger is one of a half-dozen options on the menu, all sourced exclusively from Midwest farms.
