Whole Foods expands dip recall tied to jalapeño salmonella outbreak

Whole Foods has expanded its recall of guacamole and dips linked to a salmonella outbreak tied to jalapeños from Coast Citrus; the recall follows an earlier Taylor Farms recall across 26 states. As of Aug. 10, the outbreak has sickened more than 340 people in 27 states with 36 hospitalizations; no deaths reported, and no illnesses linked to the recalled Whole Foods items yet. Customers should discard any recalled products and seek refunds.
