Federal Investigation Launched into SpaceX Starship Launch Fire and Explosion

The first test flight of SpaceX's Starship spacecraft caused a 3.5-acre fire on state park land and debris from the rocket was found across hundreds of acres of land. The FAA is carrying out a mishap investigation and Starship is grounded for now. SpaceX is required to remove debris from sensitive habitats, carry out a survey of wildlife and vegetation, and send reports to several federal agencies. The super heavy-lift space launch vehicle destroyed its launch pad, sending chunks of debris into the air, but fortunately, no one was hurt.
