Peloton’s foldable Tread Flex debuts as a space-saving entry-level treadmill

Peloton launches the $2,195 Tread Flex, a foldable treadmill that folds upright in about 25 seconds to save floor space and lacks sensor-based safety features or a camera (unlike higher-end models). The two refreshed treadmills, Tread Vision and Tread Plus Vision, get cushier decks, redesigned jump buttons, and, on camera-enabled units, Peloton IQ running analysis; all units gain personalized pace and a ReRun feature to import outdoor routes (including NYC Marathon segments via NYRR) to auto-adjust incline, as Peloton bets on hardware and AI to grow signups even as earnings lag.
