China has ordered a recall of more than four million cars—nearly three million Teslas—over hidden door handles that can be hard to open if power fails; new 2027 rules ban such mechanisms and require mechanical inside/outside releases and clear opening instructions, with some vehicles getting software updates to lower windows in a crash.
