The stainless steel panels of the Cybertruck are made using an "airbending" method to avoid marring the surface. The Gigacast front end uses self-tapping threaded inserts for the holes on the casting. The powertrain is highly optimized, with different configurations sharing the same components. The Cybertruck's charging system can deliver up to 11.5 kilowatts bidirectionally, and it can adopt 800-volt or 400-volt architecture for charging. The vehicle also features a steer-by-wire system and various electrical system optimizations.
