Severe Weather Causes Flight Cancellations, More Expected

Hundreds of flights have been canceled at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport due to severe weather in Atlanta. While the morning is calm, strong and severe storms are expected later in the afternoon as a cold front moves in from the north. The area will be at a Level 3 risk for severe weather, with damaging wind gusts and the possibility of large hail and isolated tornadoes. Temperatures will stay in the upper 80s and low 90s for the next few days, with rain chances persisting throughout the week.
