"Surprising Shortcut to Better Health: Fewer Steps Than You'd Expect"

A study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology suggests that taking approximately 4,000 steps a day can significantly reduce the risk of early death. The study, which analyzed hundreds of thousands of people from various countries, found that the biggest impact occurred when individuals walked more than 7,000 steps a day. While the most benefit was observed at around 20,000 steps, the key is to move as much as possible, even if unable to go outside. Increasing steps by a thousand can reduce the risk of dying from all causes by 15%. Portable treadmills are a convenient option for achieving daily steps and can be purchased for less than $200.
