Katy Stephenson, a 49-year-old estate agent from Bury St Edmunds, was initially misdiagnosed with perimenopause before discovering she had stage one ovarian cancer in January 2021. Despite undergoing surgery and chemotherapy, her cancer returned and spread, leading to a prognosis of four years to live.
