Cosmic-ray Scan Reveals Cathedral-Sized Void Hidden in Great Pyramid

Three independent teams using muon radiography detected a large, at least 40‑meter‑long void above the Grand Gallery inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, sealed for about 4,500 years. The void’s size and alignment point to a possible internal construction ramp or similar feature, with no artifacts found behind it. Researchers also identified a second corridor and a sealed door behind a new passage, with further exploration and disclosure expected in 2026.
