From Flight to Home: The Migrant Journey to Martha's Vineyard

Last year, the government of Florida chartered two flights from Texas to drop off 49 migrants on Martha's Vineyard, a wealthy island south of Cape Cod. While most of the migrants left for other parts of Massachusetts and cities like New York and Washington, at least four of them have quietly stayed behind, finding work and forming bonds with the community. They have faced challenges, including finding work under the table until their work permits are approved, but they are grateful for the opportunity and consider Martha's Vineyard their new home.
