New York City has started busing migrants to a hotel in Orange County, New York, despite officials seeking an injunction to prevent it. The move comes as the city's own shelters have become overcrowded, with more than 60,000 migrants arriving in the past year alone. Orange and Rockland counties have met the prospect of migrants with lawsuits, and in the case of the Rockland County executive, Ed Day, with a posture that New York City officials say shows "he is incapable of demonstrating a shred of the humane and compassionate care New York City has shown over the past year."
